PREP/BAKING INSTRUCTIONS

  • Place the oven rack in the center position of the oven. PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees.
  • Remove frozen pies from the freezer. Remove pies from the freezer box. Leave pies in aluminum pans for baking.

SWEET POTATO & PUMPKIN PIE

  • Place the frozen pies in the center of a baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in the center of the oven rack.
  • Bake for 60 minutes or until the pies are fully cooked in the center and desired golden-brown.
  • Leave hot pies on the baking sheet and remove from the oven with oven mitts. Do not handle the pie by the edge of the pan.
  • Cool for 2 hours or desired temperature.
  • Cover and store leftover pie in the refrigerator for up to 6 days or freeze.

FRUIT PIES

  • Cover frozen peach pie top loosely with aluminum foil.
  • Place frozen pies in the center of a baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in the center of the oven rack.
  • Bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil.
  • Brush the top of pie crust with egg wash
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until the center of the pie is bubbling strong. If your crust needs to be browned more, continue to bake in 10-minute intervals until desired golden brown; and crust crispness.
  • Leave hot pies on the baking sheet and remove from the oven with oven mitts. Do not handle the pie by the edge of the pan.
  • Cool for 3 hours or desired temperature.
  • Cover and store leftover pie in the refrigerator for up to 6 days or freeze.

ARE MY PIES FULLY COOKED?

Sweet Potato/Pumpkin

  • Pies are fully cooked when the center pie top is slightly firm to the touch and puffy like the rest of the pie top.
  • To test: use a toothpick or fork. Pierce the center of the pie, if the toothpick/fork comes out dry/clean, your pie is ready. If the toothpick comes out wet with uncooked filling, cook for 10 minutes. Repeat as needed until done and desired golden brown.

Fruit Pies

  • Fruit pies are fully cooked when the center of the pie is bubbling and the crust is desired golden brown.

THAW

  • Remove frozen pie from the freezer. Place the pie box in the refrigerator overnight to thaw.
  • Pie takes 6+ hours to thaw properly.
  • Thaw in the refrigerator to keep your pies from sweating.

  • KEEP REFRIGERATED

FRUIT PIES

  • Remove thawed pies from the refrigerator and remove pies from the box. Leave pies in aluminum pans for baking.
  • Place THAWED pie(s) in the center of a baking sheet. Place the baking sheet on the center oven rack.
  • Cover the fruit pie top loosely with foil. Reheat for 20 minutes at 350F.
  • Remove foil and heat for 10-20 minutes or until fully heated and your desired golden brown.
  • Do not handle the pie by the edge of the pan.
  • Let stand for 1-hour for best slicing or to desired temperature.
  • Store pie in the refrigerator for up to 6 days or freeze.
  • KEEP REFRIGERATED

FREEZE LEFTOVERS?

  • Place leftovers in a freezer bag, crust side down, cover with a piece of wax/parchment paper, remove air and seal. Place in the freezer for up to three weeks.

REHEAT LEFTOVERS? Follow 'THAW instructions.

  • Microwave: Single slice, 5-10 seconds (DO NOT MICROWAVE ALUMINUM PAN)
  • Oven: Single slice-5 minutes at 350F. Several slices in the pan: 10-15 minutes at 350F.
  • Repeat in 5 minute intervals until desired temperature.

How to Freeze Joyebells Pies

  • Step 1: Place pie container in a jumbo ziplock bag and remove as much air as possible.
  • Step 2: Place in Freezer
  • Step 3: Remove ziplock bag and place pie container in refrigrator overnight to thaw.
